Nice man! So you bought a spare motor and rebuilt it and now you're doing the swap? How much has everything cost you so far? Luckily you're one of the guys who is able to do the majority of the work yourself, saving some major cash.

i had the motor built some time ago by dave segalla from rotaryheadz/lucky 7 racing before he passed. i've been lubing it and turning it ever since. i finally got home and started the swap. so far the it hasn't cost me anything except what i paid for the block awhile ago. the rebuild was somewhere around 2,800 and i got new rotors, irons, and oil pump. hopefully the money i am saving now will allow me to upgrade to a gt40r.

I have kg parts fuel rails on the way and I will also be running about 720 and 1600 for injectors. I will also be putting a bosch 044 fuel pump inline to help out the walbro in the tank. Not quite sure of the line size yet. As I put the bigger turbo on I will be upgrading the fuel system so it will be awhile still. I will prolly push the stock fuel lines to the limits before I rip it all out for support of the turbo.

Yeah teddy it's hard cuz the weather is still not there. But I finally got a compressor so I can move a little faster.....I have to wait til monday and get the fly wheel resurfaced after that it'll be installed in a few hours. Can't wait to hear it!!

Sounds like you got some nasty intake reverberation. Is your BOV opening properly? I thought that bov was supposed to make more of a shrill pitched chirp sorta like the HKS ssqv.

Be careful with the Pillsbury Dough Boy back there. You get him too close to that fire breathing exhaust and he might just become the Pillsbury Biscuit Boy!

I hate the BOV that's on there right now. It's a cheap ebay one and it's garbage. I do have an Hks ssqv but I need another pipe to mount it on. I'd also like to mount it closer to the intake.....it's just the way I like it. But it is opening....

I still have to set the time and make some small changes but until I get a bigger turbo that's how it is going to stay....
