edit: I mean physcically mounting it... I have the wiring OK except for the antenna... I have the windshield antenna and there appears to be 2 antenna wires, which one do I use? one is male and the other is female.

okay, I broke down and bought a kit. I am pretty sure that my cd player is DIN and not ISO DIN, but not totally sure. it has a small 2" cage that goes around it. It feels like the kit has NO SUPPORT though!

Best Buy along with about every audio store in the nation sells an instalation kit that is universal to all CD players and will fit every RX-7 you just have to read the bag and make sure that it is spacific to your car. I picked one of these installation kits up at a flea market for like $10 bucks from one of those crappy audio store's. And once you get that it isn't brain surgery. All you have to do is put it together, and it will go were the stock radio went, and should have everything that you need.

:-D I have it mounted now :-P the regular DIN install sucks (what I was trying to use) but the ISO DIN install is really good. I don't know what either means, but I'll be good from here on. Thanks though.

Cage DIN really really sucks. Flimsy as hell. Take a dremel to your stock bracket, and make a plastic peice to hid the gap. I had to do it, and it looks PERFECT better than any gay kit i've ever owned.

Metra = GAY
American International = GAY
Scoche = GAY GAY GAY

Mine was a Metra turbokit, and it worked perfect, I have no problem installing it.
