motor rebuild
motor rebuild
i'm going to be rebuilding a 13B, as soon as i find one. the plan is to take it apart, clean it up, rebuild it, then find a good 2nd gen body to drop it in. for anyone who's done this, got any suggestions? i need to get a shop manual (or shop manual on cd), and i'd like to see if there are any detailed books on rebuilding a rotary engine.
i sold my baby, '90 gxl that i built into an SCCA ITS car last fall, and have regretted ever since. i need a new one for the family.
thanks for your help,
mike

You can download a FSM from a few places on the net. Here is one site

Also, its a good idea to get yourself a rebuild video.Rotary Aviation sells them, and I belive Atkins offers a video now as well.

i had a shop manual, i didn't even use it...you know why, because the video ROCKS!! No really it makes it so easy, i bought the rotary aviation video, atkins didn't have a video out then but i would reccomend gettin the atkins video, its probably a bit more up to date... but bruce turrentine's video(ra) worked awesome....tells you all torque specs and pretty much anything you need to know in an easy step by step rebuild
IMO there is no other way to do it!
