motor question

My motor blew so im throwing in another s5 motor from an automatic which comes with the harness and everything. I wanted to no do i need my old harness to make it fit or will the harness from the automatic motor fit into my computer?

Plug & play. I think the difference on the auto's harness will be a single wire, which is unused if you don't have an AT trans.

Well if you keep your current harness you won't even have that extra wire. The engines are exactly the same regardless of transmission. Don't forget to save that rear counterweight that came with the auto
