have you tried push-starting it? Or turning the motor over by hand?

Well, if the motor isn't turning over at all, taking the front cover off isn't likely to help. If the motor won't turn over by hand, there's something seriously wrong inside.

You could drain the oil & see if there's a metallic sheen on it. If so, you're looking at destroyed main bearings.

apex seal might of broken or fell out while the motor was shutting down. and locked it up, and the starter cant overcome the wedge factor.... its pretty hard to seize a motor from bad bearings unless they REALLY toast..... also carbon lock is another posibility.... results of any of these arnt good.... meaning rebuild....

most of the time u cant hear when the seals break.....

He said it was a S5 rebuilt motor. Like syonyk said drain the oil and see if there are any metallic sheen. I would take out the spark plugs and see if you can try to crank it by hand again. When you cranked it by hand you did take off the belts right?? Just a thought.

well i figured it out. so sad my oil pump failed, what are the chances this suck time to take it out again 3 time and start over. i really am starting to get mad at my car. what i am going to do first tho is put a new oil pump on and rape my motor with oil by putting a drill on it and turning it maybe i can save it sence it ran so little less then 5 mins in total. i really hope my turbo is ok too, man i hate cars

Take the engine apart, don't hurt it anymore than it already is...
