Most interesting place to find oil...

Is on the inside of the car. Driver's side floorboard. Like the car is leaking oil on the inside.

The hell is this black magic???

It only happens under hard acceleration, and or VERY long trips. After about 300 miles, right as I was stopping for gas on a road trip, I noticed a bit. Not a lot, but enough for me to be veeeewwwy curious.

You sure it's not brake fluid....? Check up where your pedals' pushrods go into the master cylinders.. >_>

Its the speed-o gear seal. NOT the o-ring, if there is one... its the seal that the cable goes through at the connection to the transmission. Been there, done that.

You may have the rumored so called "Black Edition". The car might be cursed ...
You should consult a Miko-san jk

I heared that the brake booster could leak brake fluid onto the inside. Check the carpets and see from where it comes.

1. Buy/Find the seal, mazdatrix has it, its like 6 bucks.
2. loosen speedo cable at the transmission.
3. insert (or replace) the seal (very easy replace, MAYBE a flathead required, if that)
4. reinstall the speedo cable.

Basically the oil (GEAR OIL, not motor oil)is making its way up the cable and leaking out of the connection at the instrument cluster.

First check the firewall [again, where the pedals push through] and look for fluid coming from either the brake hole or the clutch hole.. Whichever one is leaking must have its master cylinder replaced.. And then you have to do your best to clean the brake fluid out of your carpets and off the body.. It's extremely damaging to paint, so you'll need to take care of that as well to prevent terrible, terrible rust. :/
