i got a 88 not turbo with a turbo II hood and when i go true a little poodle of water the car doesnt want to respond what would i supose to look for the spark cables, the air filter , ignition what could be the problem. if somebody can give me some pointer it would mean alot.

 

Don't run over poodles with your car

I would reflexively check the air intake first if it bogs down. I run into similar issues on my belts when water splashes on them and they start to skip.

alright funniness aside, what do you mean it wont respond when you go through a puddle of water?

 

the throttle doesn't respond
