Most important gauges??

What gauges are most important to have in a TII?

I know boost and water temp., but how important is an A/F or oil pressure gauge?

Thanks

Most a/f ratio gauges are simply light shows. An EGT gauge can give you alot better idea of change and if you figure out what temp=what a/f ratio for your specific car(compare EGT to a wideband's a/f ratio), then its just as good as a wideband.

-oil temp
-water temp
-EGT
-A/F ratio
-Boost
These all seem to be vary handy at times.

Thanks guys. I'm going to be going with the boost, water temp, and MAYBE an oil pressure gauge.

How accurate is the stock oil pressure gauge. If its close, I wont be getting an aftermarket.

Thanks

If you are going with an Oil Pressure Gauge, you might aswell get an Oil Temperture Gauge too. Get the Oil Pedestal from dave @ www.fc3s.org as I did.

thats true, but if you have access to a wideband, you dont need an EGT at all!

Buy a wideband. Some companies are selling them as cheap as 600$

Oil, Water temp, boost and EGT is also very important to know if you are running lean. A/F gauges suck bigtime!!! don't waste money on that.
