Most efficient way to spend 2k on 6 port turbo
Okay so here's the run down. Right now I'm in the middle of building my 6 port turbo swap.
I currently have
LIM
UIM
S4 Turbo + manifold
Megasquirt 2 (v3 board)
820cc subaru injectors
I have 2k to spend with my tax return, what options do I have to spend it on?
I plan on picking up an innovate lc-1 wideband,
Should I get a BNR stage1/2? I planned on rebuilding it and then sending it out to get balanced. I would definitely like more power then around 250 max with a stock turbo. Auxiliary injection is planned for. I already have an rpm activated switch in place to open the 5/6 ports - it can be re-purposed to a solenoid.
Most likely staying top mount intercooler because I dont want to hack up my front bumper and support system.
I'd be really happy with 300-350whp. 300 would definitely be acceptable as I'll be tuning it myself.
I should probably search but I'm a little tired after spending 8 hours redoing a timing belt
p.s. how can i get an aftermarket blow off valve in the stock location? xD

IIRC there is a thread where someone made around 300 hp on the stock turbo w/ a 6p-t. If that's the case, you could probably make 350 on a stage 1/2 bnr, definitely on a stage 3.
Do you have the exhaust diffusers in place still? If not I would go with a full to4b or something w/ a larger hotside. I am just finishing up a 6p-t to replace my blown s4 t2 block. I was considering a bnr stage 2 w/ the 4 port, but now I'm leaning toward the stage 3/4 or rebuilding my to4b donor turbo.

I dont believe I have exhaust diffusers. I asked for them to be removed when we built the engine.
Not planning on doing too much exhaust wise right now since I already have a full racing beat NA system. I planned on picking up a racing beat (or corksport?) downpipe and bolting it up.
I'd like to do the BNR turbo but I'm not sure which is the best choice. I'd like to have a little extra room up top to really put down some power, but I dont want to spend all of my budget on the turbo with a powerband that I wont touch unless I have it professionally tuned.

I don't think you'll need to use the twin scroll. However it certainly won't hurt.
Seems like the stage 3 might be overkill for only 300HP. It's a 60-1 compressor wheel in a T4B compressor housing. That's a turbo that likes 15-16 PSI and 350 - 375HP.
Stage 2 would be a great turbo for this application, and will be more responsive. Full boost around 3000 RPM at the latest. Which will be nice considering the aux ports are wide open, killing low end...
