More starting problems

I have a 86 NA, and it doesnt want to crank. I have tested the starter, and the alternator, and battery, everything was good.

Well i had this problem for like a week i can push start it, but not turn the key to start it. I fixed it for a day by grounding the starter to the firewall. But now it doesnt want to crank again.

Before, I grounded the starter, when i checked the voltage going to the starter I had gotten 12v, and while cranking it dropped to 2. This is normal i guess

Well after i grounded the starter and it woudlnt start, the starter recieved 12 volts but when i try to start it wont drop down it just stays the same.

I am stumped now, can i do this https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/headlight-mod-wiring-enquiry-570369/, and fix my problem? Any suggestions to what i can do to fix it?

No, that's not normal. Trace the current along your positive battery line between your battery and starter and find where it fails. Mine did something like that and it was the battery terminal connections.

It could also be a weak connection in the ignition start switch or the clutch interlock switch.
