More power for starters?

Hi there!

My name is Ron a.k.a. Driftmeister, and I live in the Netherlands.
Since a few weeks I'm the proud owner of a 87 RX7 non-turbo.

A bought it at first just for getting through the winterseason, but I really like this car, and I'm planning to keep it, and to customize it...

I have absolutly no experience with rotary-engines, so I'm trying to get as many information as possible.

Can anyone tell me with what I could start doing to my engine to gain more power and more revs? I don't want to bolt on any turbo's or to take apart my engine yet, but just the basics for starters with rotary engines...

Sincerly,

Driftmeister

try getting your hands on a straight pipe and a new catback. dunno how common they are in the netherlands tho, but you can always have a shop throw something together. And also a new intake would be a nice combo with the exhaust. Search around on the net and on these forums they will help you out alot.

Check the archives and look at the thread "how to make a beefy n/a". That's a pretty good start.
