More power for starters?
Hi there!
My name is Ron a.k.a. Driftmeister, and I live in the Netherlands. Since a few weeks I'm the proud owner of a 87 RX7 non-turbo. A bought it at first just for getting through the winterseason, but I really like this car, and I'm planning to keep it, and to customize it... I have absolutly no experience with rotary-engines, so I'm trying to get as many information as possible. Can anyone tell me with what I could start doing to my engine to gain more power and more revs? I don't want to bolt on any turbo's or to take apart my engine yet, but just the basics for starters with rotary engines... ;) Sincerly, Driftmeister |
try getting your hands on a straight pipe and a new catback. dunno how common they are in the netherlands tho, but you can always have a shop throw something together. And also a new intake would be a nice combo with the exhaust. Search around on the net and on these forums they will help you out alot. :)

Check the archives and look at the thread "how to make a beefy n/a". That's a pretty good start.
