more idle trouble...
sorry to post again about my troubles, but its acting up again... Today i went to the junkyard and actually found an 88 (exact same car as mine) with the air intake thing intact. Well, it wasnt pretty, so i cleaned it up with some carb cleaner and finally got it freed up. After i plugged the sensor back into it and put my intake filter back on the car ran and idled like new, but here is the catch, i turned on the A/C and then turned it off and then BAMO! right back to where i started... terrible pulsing idle. This time however, it doesnt stall... it just pulses like a ****.
Just in case my vauge description of what i changed isnt clear, here are some low quality pics of what i replaced lol.
I did notice when i played with the throttle... it would stop for a minute, but when the A/C was turned on and then turned off it would start pulsing again... and yes i know i could just always leave the A/C on lol, but mine had so little power as it is hehe....
thanks guys

I did several times and i soaked it in carb cleaner... hehe its as clean as its gonna get. The one i baught from the junk yard isnt as nice as mine, but the electronic as in where the plug goes in, is intact.
i guess i could go over it one more time.

I think with the A/C switch on, your air bypass relay kicks in your air bypass solenoid, which routes more intake air in irrelevant to what the BAC's doing. Wonder if the solenoid is getting stuck open on you, causing your idle to climb to the point the ECU's giving fuel cut?
I also see you've got the AFM at a 90* angle or so. We just got into a big powow about this subject a couple of weeks ago, for some guys it caused problems...

Even better- check it at the ECU, then you're checking the whole circuit + the BAC. Look up the ECU pinout in the FSM, fuel section, and read the pin to ground while running. Voltage will drop as loads are applied & the BAC activates, more loads, more voltage drop. If it's doing this, your BAC system is good. Note also your idle will have to be adjusted as it should (750 rpm) for the BAC to work correctly...

hehe is my afm at a 90 degree angle bad?
hmm ok ill go try that when i get some light... but it does seem like it may be that selenoid because when i do play with the throttle it will quit sometimes..
