more crazy JDM ebay madness!!!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2401297859

$162.50 is the current high bid for a set of circle tail lights and there's still a week left of bidding.
Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't these tail lights exactly the same as the US made circle tail lights? $25 bucks at a yard. I think I'm gunna get a set of taillights, put "JDM!!!!!" on it and make a few hundred bucks.

sorry, jeremy...
heh, j/k

So, which yard can you get S5 taillights at for $25? Do you have a name and phone number?

Im selling some on ebay too. They arent JDM. 68 for shipping is insane. The circle lights are hardly ever at junkyars around here. They usually go for about 200 a pair.

The lights look exactly the same to me. I need to make a few $ for some gauges, maybe I should sell mine.

You could label your lights JDM anyway, they come from Japan! I think I might sell mine off to the fools on ebay.

I bought mine from a yard in Atlanta and had em shipped to me, round lights for 120.00 with shipping. Thought I got a decent deal.

Heh, $25 each? show me where . I've bought and sold several pairs of these, and I've never bought a set for UNDER $180.

"JDM FC3S RX7 ROUND TAIL LIGHTS RX-7 2ND GEN
RX7 tail lights from Japan. Pure Junsei JDM. Perfect for that Savanna RX-7 conversion. Very difficult to find."

Pure Junsei JDM? Either this guy is completely ignorant about RX-7's, or he's deliberately misrepresenting the product he's selling. Isn't that illegal?

Japandy actually lives in Japan! Thats where he is selling them from so they are JDM lights. Maybe they are the same as ours but he isn't lying about it. If he is selling things for more than retail then more power to him. That is the beauty of an auction! Highest bidder wins. If he is selling them for that price as a buy it now then he is finding someone willing to pay that. I'm not dumb enough to pay that though. From a business standpoint you aren't getting ripped off if you are willing to pay that price for it. Whether you can get it somewhere else for cheaper isn't even the issue since these people should just search for better deals. Whether or not its morally correct, he is making money this way. Thats why people sell things on eBay. If they didn't they might not be able to sell them at all. I have thrown away alot of junk parts that I probably could have sold online.
