Momo wheel?

I just purchased an 89 gxl that has a momo wheel in it. The owner of the car said that it came factory. Im not sure this is the case as I have never seen an FC with a momo wheel fromthe factory. SO can anyone clear this up for me? Thanks in advance.

Yep, Momo leather-wrapped steering wheel was standard on the S5 Turbo only. I didn't see it for the GTUs so I could be wrong. It's on one of the 2nd Gen Sticky Pages.

Yup, it even has "MOMO" stamped on it. (located at the very bottom of the horn button). I had one on my Protege for a while

I dont have a picture as of now. Next time I go to work on the car i will snap one. I would say its 350mm has the momo horn button with a leather piece around it (like a pad or something) and says momo at the bottom.

if it has an Aftermarket Hub on it,then It isn't from the factory. If the Steering wheel is attached By One Nut,then It is Factory. The S5 Three spoke,(GTU's?,I believe) is Momo. But they do not Require an Aftermarket Hub,as they Go on with One Nut to the Spline. They are a Comfortable steering wheel.I Changed My Three spoke out,to a Racing type Wheel and I was Kind of Shocked to the Similarities of the Grip.(MOMO aftermarket).Seeing I was trying to get a More grippy Steerng wheel,it was like getting Kicked in the Head.I could have left the Stock wheel On!(and saved 200 bucks!).but the Aftermarket Wheel with Hub will bring the steering wheel closer to the driver. If you Get a Spacer, you can even bring it towards the Driver More.(I use a hub and One inch spacer..I Like the wheel close to me!).

A Program that is easy to shrink images is called "VSO Image Resizer" Just google it and it will show up.
