Modifying Turbo

While I have this thing out, I was wondering if there is anything I can do to it to make it better. I don't know **** about the internals/parts of a turbo, but I didn't know if you could swap out the old wheel for a new one, etc...BTW its an S5 with a ported wastegate.

If you have the time and a few bucks you can send it out to bnrturbos.com for a rebuild, or have the intake side upgraded.

Does it cost the same as buying one of the turbos? I know rx7store has them for sale for like 600 bucks. Or will it be cheaper because they will just use my turbo?

I think you told me about them? So I'll give you the credit.

The stock rebuild is much less and the most expensive is stage3 which runs 675.00 but supports lot's of HP!

Hmmmm...according to the website, the stock rebuild is $325, the stage 1 is $675. Unless I am reading the website wrong.

Yes your right I got pricing wrong. The stage 1 is 625.00 but how about that stage 4! 400hp on stock internal wastegate and manifold!

Yea, at first I saw that $325 price tag and was all about it, then realized it was just for a rebuild...boooooo.
