i dunno lol.. all materials can be bought at lowes, home depot, or auto parts store. Bondo brand fiberglass cloth or Elmers *what they sell at home depot/lowes*.. Resin in either brand *tho Bondo brand isnt really desired too much, it will work though* For body filler though, you want some quality stuff, I bought a gallon of Rage Gold, if i recall its like over $50-70 for a gallon. but its worth it. its enough for the spoiler, and still plenty left over for body work etc.

I first started the spoiler by using cardboard for the extension and then wrapping it with some fabric cloth , then soaking it with fiberglass resin, then laid some fiberglass over it etc..

I'm pretty sure you could use Hypertek's fiberglass technique to patch those. Make sure you sand it even and possibly fill it out.

The body kit makes me puke

Just don't make it stick out too far and it'd look good.

old mock up picture

yesterday mornings progress

as of right now

Hopefully last of the filler i need to do.. just gotta sand a few spots.. throw some primer and paint. Hopefully it wont be too wavy.. thats whats hard about buildin your own fiberglass stuff... If i ever see the likes of gloss paint, then ill probably go over it once more to make it perfect.

Cant wait! should have it finished in a day or so..

Im hoping i get this new job, had an interview today.. I already got my next project in mind...

I dont live too far from el mirage *dry lake*.. i wouldnt mind at one point in time to run this car, provided by then ill have some safety gear to protect me lol

ugh! one of the spoiler studs broke off... so i only got 3 now.. and im not sure if this spoiler was missing 2 in the first place... 2 inner studs on each side, and one outer stud on the right.. ugh

i finished the spoiler btw.. just kinda bummed i broke that stud. I could rock it with 3 bolts, but that kinda sucks.. ill have to think of something.

finished for now.. its not perfect but its cool. few blemishes it wouldnt be ideal to copy.. i could always do better if i did another one.. I fixed the broken stud by drilling it through, and screwing a screw in its place, jb weld, and then cutting the head off, leaving a nice stud in its place

i hope hiromi oshima likes it lol

next is to hopefully get a job soon.. then paint.. been bummin it for a few months =(
been applying alot of places,.. economy is slowww

wow i thought i invented this... someone in japan has one lol, i wonder who makes em. I wasn't aware of that.

looks just like mine minus the third brake light.

Mine is deteriorating from the weather/environment so im thinking about correcting the lil things and seeing if someone will reproduce it , i have a few places in mind. I just dont wanna give it up lol, kinda cool making something and being the only one.. id reproduce em myself if i could.
