As long as its fully encapsulated in FG you should be fine. Its not *the* way to do it, but you shouldn't have any trouble for a long time.

Now, bust out the filler and make it pretty.

hehe will do!

just need to do a few more layers.. then clean up/shave any accessive stuff.. then ill hit it with a light layer of Rage body filler.. i bought 1 gallon.. this spoiler isnt my main priority so i want to try to attend the rest of the body first. i got some goodies lined up

sanded it a few months back..

I might put some more work into it this weekend.. i still havent added filler to the bottom side.. and the top needs a brief run over and more sanding.

Im kinda in the "I like no rear spoiler" stage, but this could persuade me otherwise. Maybe if i drill the holes and mount it on the car i might be pushed to actually finish it. Anyone got the S4 spoiler hole measurements?

Maybe there would be interest in the final product to see if maybe Shineauto or somethin could replicate it? i wouldnt mind , it would mean id probably get back a solid lightweight piece.

ebay
4 inch round led tail lights *the kind used on big rigs* .. thats the easy way, gut/hack em and glue em in.. or do the harder way and make your own circuit board with LEDS *probably cheaper but way time consuming*

Gonna go see how much more work i can do before it gets too dark..

I might just mount this on, any tips on measuring the hole locations?

spending some nice quality time with a palm sander right now wow... i was soo intimidated by the sanding process , that is why i put this spoiler on slooow progress... Its actually not that bad with a palm sander.. hopefully tomarrow or so ill be ready to spread filler on the bottom portion.. imma try to push this ready in time for sevenstock =p

Maybe a moderator can edit my previous posts in this thread to just links? i can see the huge pics are annoying lol

Pretty sure these are fairly accurate, may want to double check...(ignore the fact that the taillight is out of scale LOL) holes are 5/16"

sold my origin kit *cries*
http://i36.tinypic.com/25iay51.jpg

i could thus fix my air compressor, borrow a spray gun, and buy some paint.. but being a bum with no job kinda slows your interest in your car so i need to concentrate on goin back to school or lookin for a job.
