Modded harness

I'll do it for 149.50 .
I do have a kind of on-topic question though; I extended the TPS wires on my harness in preparation for a future TII swap, what should the resistance on the wires be? I tested them with a multimeter, with one probe in the TPS terminal and the other in the corresponding pin on the ECU plug. I got ~5k ohms on the top 2 wires (the ones side-by-side on the TPS plug). This doesn't sound right to me, did I do a bad solder job or something? I've been meaning to do the same test on my other car with the unmodded harness but I've been busy and the weather has been bad.

Hard to say. ONe wire is brown/white and goes to numerous sensors plus the pin on the ECU and the same can be said of the brown/black (might be pure black) 'cause it goes to numerous sensors in the engine bay.
But it does not sound right. I might look tomorrow and do what you did. I'll do it on my non turbo car 'cause I won't have to remove a intercooler that way. Should be exactly the same thing though.

As long as you run the s5 Na harness with the s5 NA ecu you shouldn't have a problem running it on a s5 TII motor. You can't run a s5 NA ecu with a s5 turbo harness and visa versa unless you modify the harness immensely and its not worth it. Same thing would go for s4 harnesses and ecus. I personally when i did my swap just ran a Turbo harness and turbo ecu. I mean if your gunna buy an S5 turbo 2 motor i would hope you would wanna get the ecu and harness with it.

hey, while on the topic of modded wires, Does any one how to tell the difference between the primarys and secondaries on the TurboII harness? I understand left and right placement of the actual connectors dont matter (on their proper fuel rail) but i suddenly forgot which ones go where! i know im a noob. Basically theres fours plugs two shorter and two longer ones. Can someone please help me? thanks!
