Question mod questions

i have a couple questions about some of the mods ive seen on other peoples signitures:

1: where can i get a performance header for my 89 n/a?
2: what is a resonator, what does it do, and where can i get one?
3: what does the TB mod do and where can i get one?

check the archive for 2nd gen vendors lists to see where you can get different types of products or just click on rx7store.net link above.

Search the archive for the TB mod. You cannot buy one unless you pay someone to do it for you. It is porting your throttle body so yea its a DIY thing. When in doubt search.

3 TB mod removes the secondary butterflys from the TB you can do it yourself or have someone do it for you.

u dont get the tb mod, its something that u do.....
you take out the flapper doors in the throttle body to allow for more flow....
i also think i remember someone saying that the TB mod is only recommended for a turbo...either because the N/A wont benefit that much from the mod or it may even be dangerous....cant remember completely but i remember that thread somewhere.....

anyone care to back me up or show the errors in my way?

I believe the TB mod can be used on either model.

IT involves eliminating the Thermowax, and the double throttle butterflies. My link for it is dead.

Possible a search might get some results.

yeah, but why....its SO easy to do......im glad im getting another TB though, cause this time around I DONT want to use JB weld.....seems a bit sketchy me....plus it looks like ***

a resonator looks kinda like a cat but dosn't help emissions, however it helps keep the noise lever down, and no you don't want one.if anything, get a presilencer.
