mmo how much to use and where?

after talking to a few rotorheads. ive decided to buy some mmo.

ive been convinced its probably my oil rings going out or they are out!

ive added 4oz of MMO to my gas tank (has about 13.5 gallons of gas in it currently). directions say 4oz/10gallons of gas.

should i add any to the oil? ive read some past posts, saying running it in the oil...with possible bad oil rings, will make them worse not better.

what do you think

do you have the stock buna o rings or are they viton? i believe the mmo would clean things up and help lubricate the oil o rings, but there isn't a magical fix for this problem, except for a good ol' rebuild.

MMO in the gas works wonders. It relieved my lumpy idle after 2 gas tanks.
