HELP! OMP out, smoke bad, low oil pressure, MMO in gas/oil.

Hello I have a 88 tii and have problem. 1st my mods: 2.5 inch exhaust from turbo to muffler, no cat, no EGR, no ACV, no P/S, no airpump, no A/C, intake.
Alright I change my oil yesterday with 3.5 quart 20w50 oil, and 1 quart MMO (marvel mystery oil), then I went out to put some gas I put some NOS octane booster with 1 quarter tank gas. Then went to work, I looked under my car and notice that the OMP wire was just hangin there not connected, I know that u could drive w/o OMP but u jus need some lubrication in the APEX, since all the OMP does it shoot oil at APEX, so I went and put a quart of MMO in the tank. Drive around, and notice that I get lots of huge black smoke even at IDLE! Usually I jus smell gas from my exhaust, but now I smell like burning. I dunt see that much smoke when going I can only notice at idle. What could be the problem? I drove from my werk to house (28 miles) and it seem fine, it jus have smoke. When I put the MMO i forgot that i put the Octane booster the day before, could that be it? Help guys! thx.

oh yea also I have very very low oil pressure. At idle my oil pressure is like at 14 psi. I idle at around 750-800rpm. At 2k the oil pressure is a little below the middle of 30 and 60psi. Could the oil and MMO make the oil pressure that low? thx guys.

i don't run premix, but my question to you is, how much oil/gas ratio did you run/are you running? and you might want to check to make sure you haven't fried something when you ran your car without sufficient lub...

well the oil/gas ratio is a quarter tank gas to 1 quart MMO (i donno how much the capacity of gas tank it is prolly 20 gallon). I'm not sure if I fried something, I checked under the hood everything is ok, it pulls just as strong an everything, also when I noticed the OMP wire was hangin I walked to the closest kragen to get MMO (like 8 block), so I dunt think the car ran w/o sufficient lube for that much long. where else could i check for something that got fucked up? i look under car no oil leaking or nething.

Well I was gonna tune up, I jus need to buy the spark plug wire. my car runs really, really rich, (i must get like 10mpg) and I'm jus used to the smell of gas. also i think when black smoke=burning oil.

I think the series5(89-91) models had the wired up MOP and your 88 is all mechanical. Black smoke is indicative of running a bit rich. Burning oil should be bluish or off white. If you suspect bad oil seals then try revving your engine to above 5000rpm in neutral and see if it smokes really bad. Was your oil pressure "normal" prior to this putting in all this snake oil stuff?

i think your problem with the smoke lies in the amount of oil to gas ratio (i could be wrong) but best bet is to do a search on premix or momo in gas...or ask someone who is known to use momo in their tank...
btw, i run waaay rich too but i don't blow any black smoke...the only smoke my 7 blows is a bluish white smoke if any...

I jus started her up and huge amount of black smoke came out, and I'm jus too afraid to rev it up. I will pas by the junkyard tomorrow to get that wire that hangin. If the wire isnt OMP, what is it? Theres 2 wires one that hangin, and the sensor to see if the oil is low. And yes the oil pressure was normal I think, around 27-29 psi at idle, but I had 10w30 oil in it, no additive. Could the 20w50 oil really decrease ur oil pressure that much, combined with the MMO?

Try filling up that 1/4 tank of gas you have in there now up at least 10 gal and see if the black smoke goes away. Regarding the low oil pressure, I too have similar result after using mmo(no blk smoke though) and pressure was still low even after replacing the oil pressure sending unit.

You used only 3.5 quarts? I use 5 on my S4 NA and it fills perfect, you sure your oil levels ok? How much MMO did you use? I currently did the same thing, oil change and MMO and I made sure to not use too much MMO because I didnt want the oil thinned down resulting in decreased pressure. And I had close to the same problem as you, dont know if its related, but when shifting at higher RPM every now and then the car belches out smoke like burnt oil. Im starting to have my doubts about MMO.

well I usually put 4.5 quart oil, when not premixing, but I put 3.5 qt, also with the 1 quart MMO to make 4.5 total. I will not drive her until I get that OMP wire (or what ever it is)

If the MOP is broke/nonfunctional then you should put in 1oz of 2stroke tcw3 to 1 gal of gas. An oil change at this point to purge the mmo is a good idea.

You shouldn't have any wires on your MOP.... probably comming from something else. Do you have a digital camera?

look at the oil pan, theres a wire that come from the engine, splits into 2, 1 for the oil lever sensor, and the other for the wire that hangin with each its own harness, the wire hangin is green, with i think a black stripe, sot sure cuz there lot of grease.

dude that is way too much oil!!!

a quart is good for like a couple full tanks! I would go fill up the gas tank now to full to lessen the oil amount.

hey everone pls help. I jus started her up but she won't even crank. She got a nu battery and i even tried jump start! I open hood and get a STRONG GAS SMELL from just left of the IC, and a kinda loud buzzing noise. Well neway this what I think happend: The Octane Booster combine with the huge amount of MMO must have created a lot of carbon inside the engine. This is prolly why there a strong gas smell, cuz i kno the fuel pump goes on for a couple seconds when you put key to start, and the carbon must be blocking fuel er something (that why i smell gas). SO now i'm gonna do ATF trick, and see what happens, but i need ur guy's opinion on this any help greatly appreciated, thx.

also I found out that the wire that hangin is from the OIL THERMO UNIT, it has something to do with the Subzero Start Assist according to Haynes.

does it click, or even try to turn over? Is the starter engaging?
