Questions regarding MMO
Evening all.
1. Should I add MMO before or after an oil change? Can I add MMO at any given time?
2. How much MMO should I use?
3. When adding MMO, should I add it to the oil tank and the gas tank one after the other, or should I add to the oil tank only? Or the gas tank only?
I want to make sure I do this right, I love my 7.
Any and all opinions appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
M.

put it in the gas, put it in the oil, rub a little under your arms, gargle, rinse, and spit.... it's good for everything! i put a little (4oz) in after every oil change. you can put a little extra in before the next change for extra cleaning. i usually put 4oz in the gas tank every fill up too. MMO works great for decarbonizing the combustion chamber as well. just look up MMO or ATF treatment.

I use MMO in the sump and the gas tank as an extra-precautionary premix. I've seen MMO "fuel additive only" at Wally World for $1 for 12 oz. That's the stuff I put in my tank.
One thing I can say, it thins out the oil. Fastrotaries method of putting in b4 the oil change works well to clean out the sump.
Search the forum with "MMO" as the subject for some more material, or just search user name "Denny"...you'll prolly get about the same number of threads.

Cool, thanks guys and gals.
This MMO stuff sounds the like nectar of the Gods.
This forum is wicked by the way, almost all of questions have been answered.

She will live again, oh yes, she will live again.

quick word of warning: i put some in my gas tank and i think it loosened up some gunk in there 'cause since then, i've been going through fuel filters like crazy and my carb has been getting kinda gummed up - i'll need to flush the fuel tank before too long.
just be careful.

Been gone for awhile, I know....Some family issues with my Mother and Brothers up in Cleveland....
Ennaways, As the man said, search this forum under MMO, there's a long message I put up some time back on the benefits of MMO...
Suffice to say that MMO is a real fine substitute for ATF in the "won't start/flooded/need to clean the carbon out" areas. It's made to be burned, unlike ATF. Everyone has their own novel way of using MMO. I put about a pint into the oil sump during each oil change. Remember, Rotaries burn a bit of oil. I then dump another pint into the fuel tank. I also wipe my tools down with it as a rust preventative.
Originally designed as a fuel additive for supercharged engines used in racing cars and airplanes to lubricate the supercharger housing and charger vanes, it's great for spinner engines like our rotaries. Also good for boingers, keeps heads, valves, tops of pistions clean.
It's simply a beauty way to go around!

Shore nuff, Buckaroo....
Just squirt some into the plug holes, spin and squirt, then fire 'er up. She'll smoke, but nothin' like ATF and nowhere near as long. Let 'er idle for a bit, then take out for bit of a run. Don't wind 'er up until she's warm, then you're good as gold!

now i'm just plain confused, so you add MMO/2-cycle oil after every fill up, and it helps keep your engine clean right? has anyone ever tried the fuel system cleaners or similar things like that, are those dangerous to rotaries? and just to make clear, cuz i've never heard of adding the mmo, wouldn't it make the exhaust have a stronger smell? this is just confusing, can anyone please enlighten me with the usage of the MMO/2-cycle oil, thanks. oh and also, how often should you add it to the gas tank, or can/should be done everytime you fill up?
