How long have you had it? I see the buzzer maybe once a week.

The best is when you are hard on the brakes going into a turn at the track, you heel-toe the downshift a bit too early and DING!!!!

I haven't got the courage to fix things on mine yet, since it's the only car that i have for school. If I had a backup car, then yea, but as far as doing huge mods like most of you do, the most I can do is a full exhaust. The only thing I've done to my car was replacing my engine fuse box, that I got from Dub, and putting in a drop-in K&N filter. What I really want to do, is re-route that plastic tube that ends in the front middle of the car. The stock airbox tube. I want to somewhat customize that. Instead of ending in the front where pretty much little to no air seems to get through to it, I want to drop the pass. ftp lens, and have the tube bend down and then curve to fit the ftp lens hole. So overall, the tube no longer starts from the right(looking at front of car) and end in the middle, it would now go straight down and end in the lens hole. Hopeflly this makes sense. But from I'm thinking, you could get a massive amount of cold air with this little idea. On the flipside, you could aslo end up getting someones bad exhaust fumes into your engine. More than likely I'm wrong, but hey, it doesn't hurt to try.

The only problem with redlining my car is those damn coolant hoses keep blowing. I've replaces 3 different hoses, each time right after I redlined . You would think rx-7's would have extra durable hoses stock to keep up with the high heat of a rotary. Any one else have to deal with bad hoses?

I love hitting the rev buzzer, the first time i did it, I was autocrossing and wasnt looking at my tach, and then was like.........."What? what was that?", then I thought "ohhh... Whoops

Now I just do it for kicks, and of course getting all that carbon out of there.

Thumbs up

My first time was tonight...I thought a rice rocket was honking at me....

My mechanic told me to redline it at least once a week to clean out the carbon.....are it does seem to be helping.....but then again running Premium gas does as well....

If your car is N/A it is best to run on cat-**** 87 octane.

Hm, I redlined my 7 on the test drive. Actually, I redlined it in first, second, third, then stopped at the stop sign. Woot. The buzzer is my god. I praise by it.
