Question Mix and Match Transmissions

Can you put a Turbo II 89-91 tranny on a 90 non-turbo engine thats in a 88 Rx-7?

you...CAN...but..wouldnt an ECU change be for the better since the engine is 'different'? Also, i still havent come across a definate answer as to if you are able to use the auto driveshaft to link the tII tranny and the na diff.

Yes, but you will need to use the TII starter, TII slave cylinder and custom driveshaft.

The auto drive shaft will not fit. It is about 2 inches too short.
