Mitsubishi 20g

I'm aware that using turbos from other cars is usually pretty worthless. The mitsubishi 20g, however, is used in Greddy's uprage kit for the TII (I believe). Does mitsubishi change their turbos any, or is the 20g they use in our kit, the same an eclipse might have (assuming the 16g wasn't enough). A friend of mine is going to use a 16g he has, but he also has a 20g that came on a motor when he bought another one. If I were to have an exhaust manifold to fit a 20g to my car, would it actually be beneficial?

the 20g is a very good upgrade from a 16g on a dsm. They are very close in nature, but of course the 20g is bigger. I'm pretty sure if you put it on your tii it would be better.

But I'm NOT an expert or anything. That's just what i've seen and heard. Someone please correct me if im wrong.

im pretty sure the ar's are wayy off for any use on a rotary. It would be a restriction in your exhaust stream

I'm using 2 TDO518G turbos. even then the exh side tends to be a little restrictive.

yeah i'd say the compressor side of the 20g would be fine but the exhaust side needs to be bigger since rotaries flow so much more exhaust.
