Missing pre-cat stud

After two hours of swearing and bashing my head underneath my car I finally got the pre-cat off... But, one of the studs is missing, there are supposed to be three but I'm missing the top left one (viewed from rear of car).

Does anyone know how I can replace this? Or even a quick fix untill I can get it fixed properly? I need the car running again tomorrow, and I don't think it would be appreciated if I ran the Rex with no exhaust

Can I just put the downpipe on as it is? and get it fixed later?

Either put in a new stud, or just use a bolt and nut (stainless, of course).

Ok, thanks, but how do I get a bolt & nut on the turbo? also, I have another problem...

either I broke the wire from the O2 sensor, or it was never connected in the first place. (I was pretty careful when taking off the pre-cat, I think)

I can't find where the O2 sensor wire is supposed to go to, can't find a broken bit anywhere. could someone tell me where it goes in on the wiring harness, or, even better a photo?

Oh, so the stud is a turbo stud, not one of the ones on the precat? In that case, simply replace the stud. Should be available at any auto parts store.

As for the O2 sensor, it connects to a wire with a green plug coming out from the upper intake. It is simply a spade connector.

oh yeah, sorry, I see now that I wasn't very clear on where the stud was.

Thanks again, I'll see if I can find the wire. If it wasn't connected before, could this have caused my terrible gas milage?

Yep, definitly the cause of poor mileage (or one of them, anyway).

One last question, you mentioned that I could just replace the stud. I don't know what it's called in english, but do you mean a threaded bar? (like a bolt, but without the head on it?)

hmm... is there a empty theaded hole on the turbo? or did the stud break off? you might have to pull the turbo off to fix it...

o2 sensor won't effect millage much. maybe 5-10% max.
