miss firing on primary coil every 15-20seconds

Im having a couple of teething issues still
1 my idol is way up the waazoo. but ill get to that in a sec

I checked and adjusted my timing with a "snap on" timing gun ( set right ) and my timing was maybe 5 degrees out so i adjusted that. Now while checking this i noticed a miss every 15-20 ( possibly 30) seconds? This isnt normal right????
My coils have the correct risistance etc so would it be my ignitor?
i had no miss on my secondarys.

Idol.
My idol is all over the show. I installed a new second hand tps that i checked the risistance on and it was all good. I set it to 1K ohm on a warm engine
some times my car idols at 2300 rpm but if i put my foot under the pedal and pull it out ( sticky pedal or something ) it drops to 1500
sometimes it even hunts!!!
sometimes it idols at 700
sometimes it will just die ( which isnt helpful after coming home from a boost and the car wont let the turbo timer do its job )
The screw in my BAC is stuffed and i cant turn it at all, not even to remove and replace it

what can i do? My throttle cable is almost at the end of its adjustment

How did you determin the miss? Did the flashing light on the timing gun not flash for a split second? If so it doesn't mean its missing, possibly just got interference from another wire or didn't pick up the electrical pulse in the wire its self.

unhook tps and see if it misses
if that "fixed" it, it is actually a misadjusted tps and/or vac leak.

It's normal for it to miss.

It's spelled i-d-l-e not "idol".

If you set the timing with the rpms at anything over 1100 rpms.................then you screwed up.

The ECU advances the idle anytime your over about 1150-1200 rpms. So, you can see that if the idle was over 1100rpm, you did NOT set the timing to Lead -5 and Trail -20. Right? Right. Done
