Misfiring (or related) problem

My car is having some problems. When I start the car I gotta crank it then push the pedal all the way down to start. when the car is started and warming up the idle is rough like the car is missing and it smokes a little bit. A blackish smoke. when driving it anything more than a slight throttle will cause it to miss like crazy. After the car is warm the missing is gone until I give it about 1/3-1/2 throttle then it jerks around as i drive it more it gets less and less severe (1/2 throttle though you can still hear the car miss and it jerks a little bit)

Now the motor has been rebuilt so i am still in the process of breaking it in however I reached the 500 mark tonight and decided I wanted to see how the car reacts at WOT from 1.5k to 7. I did it twice and got 2 results. First time from 1.5 to 3k it would jerk then from then from 3k to about 4.5 it ran fine then at 5k it hesitated then out of nowhere the car runs like a bat outta hell. Second time same results but I decided to shift to second. I shift at redline and stay in the powerband and the car runs beautifully.

I don't get what the problem is. It seems under 5k the car runs like its hitting fuel cut or something but after 5k it runs like a brand new motor.

The car is practically stock. Its got a 3 in single exit corksport exhaust with a hi flow cat and a gutted precat. motors is rebuilt with a mild street port by karack.

What could my problems be? Karack said it could be the ECU and he also mentioned that the injectors look like they have been serviced. Anyway info would be helpful.

Black smoke = rich.

The normal cause for this is leaking injectors. But because this is a new engine you need to make sure that everything was connected properly when the engine was swapped.
