Checking those today.

Something else I noticed: (and its weird, wtf!)
I was messing around with the pressure sensor. Swapped it, car seemed to run a little worse.

For kicks, put the FCD on. Now the car won't rev above 3800RPM at WOT at ALL.

Pulled the FCD off. Car will work to ~5k at WOT.
Pulled vac. line off the pressure sensor. 3800rpm. Put it back on, pulled the plug. 3800RPM.

Hopefully I can rip the UIM off today, I have no way to test the fuel pressure anywhere other than idle/not under load.

 

the culprit: bad secondary fuel injector wire.

it had broken internally, fixed it, car works now.

still have a vibration at super high (above 6500) rpm so I'm going to tighten my alt. belt and see if that helps, if not, well, guess I'll post another thread.

 

How were you able to find and diagnose the issue? Currently having a similar problem and just don’t know what to do. Car revs out fully in neutral but will not rev out in gear. After about 3.5k it’s like the wall is hitting a wall. Very aggressive misfires, please help.

 

Are you spitting out any codes?
