Misc. Dash Electrical Probs
Are these problems related?
Park Brake light does not go out when brake is released
Clock no longer displays (it flickered for a while, now always off) - - figure this is cold solder joint in idiot panel
Stock Alarm no longer arms (no beep, no light flashing etc.)
High beam headlights don't come on (lights don't high beam (low beam works fine), blue light near speedo doesn't light) Turn signals on same stalk still work.
All of this is in the last 3 or 4 months, kind of one after the other.
Likely culprits:
Park brake = bad ground somewhere for the park brake? If so, where is the ground located?
Clock - cold solder joints
Stock Alarm - cpu in driver kick
high beam - ?? no idea - have recently replaced console light on/off switch with rebuilt one
Any help is much appreciated, I don't want to tear into it until I have a good idea of what is really wrong, I'm time limited.

Hey J-rat, do you mean the rotary switch on the left of the console, or the blinker/high beam stalk?
Anyone know what might be causing the alarm to not work?
I'll check the brake fluid - never thought of that. Thanks.

the clock is the solder joints, its a pretty quick fix
the alarm could have to do with your door sensors (especially if your door light isnt working)
the door sensor is a little rubber thing on the bottom of the door on the side that opens, take it out, pull the little plug out and sand the contact surfaced untill theyre clean.

Bad float potentiometer in the gas tank. The one that has the float on it. Mazdatrix or wrecking yard to fix.

The high/low beam problem can be the switch that you pull on to make the lights go high/low. I had a bad one of those, but in my case the the highs would come on if the switch was held aft but would not latch if you let go of it.
IF your headlights don't go high at all, then suspect the dimmer relay.
