Mirror questions

Alright, so today I cracked my driver's side power mirror on my S4 GXL and I'm wondering what my options are here with mirrors. I really would like to get a pair of the aero mirrors that came on the 10th AE and S5. I have power mirrors, and would like to get another pair of power mirrors that are the aero style. Is there any special wiring involved or is it a direct swap converting from S4 GXL power mirrors ro S5 aero power mirrors? Thanks a ton guys.

Aparently the S4's came with aero mirrors on more cars than the 10th AE and that they were different than the S5 mirrors. Is there any truth to this? And if there is, anyone got some pictures?

The difference between the S4 and S5 aero mirrors is that the S5 has smoother edges. The inlet on the S4 has a bit of a hard corner to it.

Yea, I just checked it out, and the S4 aero mirrors are different than the S5 aero mirrors. Here's a couple pictures for quick reference.

These are the S4 aero mirrors.

And these are the S4 aero mirrors.

Now the hard part, trying to figure out which ones I like better. If you guys could, can you snap a front and back picture of your aero mirrors to help me decide? Thanks!

I actually prefer the non-aero mirrors. There's more surface area to the mirror, so you have less of a blind spot.

Thanks a ton for your help guys. Now it's just a matter of picking out which mirrors I like better, the S4 or S5 aero mirrors. Also, if anyone has a set for sale, e-mail or PM me about them! Thanks!
