mirror guestion

How do you pull the mirror motor out of the mirrors.

Very carefully....LOL no I think there is a screw underneath the mirror you unscrew that and the whole assembly pulls out.

Oh you already have the whole assembly out...I dunno what to do from there bud never done that.

I do not have the whole assembly out. There is a screw that I cannot find that is holding the mirror and the motor in.

I have took of 3 of the screw under the mirror on the metal plate that it was held in be.


Reason! To sand and paint the plastic to match the car.

One more to go, there are 4 holding the mirror motor to the frame.

Personally I would just mask off the mirror than try and remove one.

well there are three screws that hold the mirror assembly to the door frame, then two screws on the bottom and two screws on the top of the motor/mirror assembly inside the mirror houseing.

I am talk about take the mirror/motor assembly. I have took three screw out and the mirror still seems to still have one screw.

The drawing suck. Sorry
