mikuni side drafts

working on my bike the other day, i started brain storming about putting four mikuni side drafts (they're like 53mm ea. from a 750 twin, so enough carbage for a 1500 cc bike) on my 6 port FC. just wondering if it would be possible with a custom fabbed intake, lower pressure fuel system, etc., or are the intake characteristics too dis-similar.

if it is possible i'd seriously consider it as a winter project.

make sure the carbs can flow enough.. the rotary may be small, but it sucks down a whole lot of fuel.

that's what i figured just based on mileage... i guess i'll have to dig up specs on fuel delivery... but i don't know where to look. i'm pretty sure the carbs can handle enough air volume... maybe they could be jetted up to what the 13b would need.

Don't forget that a 13B breathes air and drinks fuel like a 2.6L piston engine. You will probably find those carbs can't flow suffcient fuel no matter what size jets you use. The internal fuel passages just aren't big enough.
