metering oil pump

metering oil pump

The dealership tells me that I need a metering oil injection pump for my car at a cost of 2100.00 Does any one know where I can get 1 rebuilt or reman??

You have an S5 and the pump has failed? Get one on eBay or via the for sale sections on this site. Used parts are cheap.

Definitely get a used one! There are so many parts out there for these cars, I usually never go to the stealership! Or just block it off and run pre-mix. but if it's an s5 (which I assume it is) it would be trickier to block it off seeing as the ECU has to see it there and functioning to prevent limp mode. You have to disable the pump, but leave the sensors intact to trick the ECU. Probably easier for ya to just replace it. Search.
