Messed up accessories

Hey guys,
My alarm works intermittently, my horn works intermittently, WTF!!!! I think its the cold solder CPU problem... but i'm not too sure... Has someone performed this mod? Did it work? Do you have DETAILED pics or tips? Also, sometimes when i get into the car... the damn seatbelt light is glowing... without even having the key in the ignition. Perhaps its related. Anyways, thanks!

Cold solder joint problem in CPU, logicon and idiot light cluster. Search the Net for the 2nd gen FAQ. You will find detailed instructions and pictures there.

Does it glow really faint? If so mine does that too sometimes, but I don't have any problems with the alarm working intermitantly., so they might not be related. I not sure that I've ever used to horn, so I don't know about that...

Throw that POS stock alarm away.&nbsp The horn problem is definitely a "CPU" problem.

Dont worry RETed i got an aftermarket alarm too... but it's always good to have a backup... even if it's an intermittent POS
Thanks for your reply, however.
