Mental Meltdown.
I have a problem.
I am a big fan of the 7, and don't own one. I have yet to see many in my area, and 0 for sell. I would like to eventually get a t2, but I don't have the cash right now. I start work in 2 weeks and NEED to buy a car... If I spend my money on another car it will be good and fine, however I really want a 7 and I would probably put money into the other car wich i cannot justify as well as putting it into an rx7. The problem: I found an 87 rx7 in the paper, it has 185,000 miles on it :\ It's listed for $1,000, the guy who owns it just go tit from someone ad knows nothing about it...or its maintnence. Would this be worth the investment for a car I could enjoy driving, and get to and from work etc. And with that kind of milage, and the year, does anyone know how long it will last, and what common problems would be? I have about 2,500 right now at my disposal..so i could put anywhere from 1.5-2 grand into after i bought it. Is this enough money to get it back on track, etc. I really want the car, but I dont want something that will die on me, then i spend 10 grand making it just run, and not have any money to buy a new t2. But im going to have to buy a car anyways...so i guess its just as good to get an rx7 :P Any insight is greatly apreciated

i wouldnt recommend buying that car, probably wont be reliable transportation
if you need a car to be reliable and get you to work and what not, i'd say buy an RX-7 only if you know its in good condition
