Member's short shifter

A couple of months ago Aaron Cake posted about some short shifter he was developing. Anything ever come of it?

Hey,

The progress has been slow because things keep coming up. We had a rattle problem that MUST be solved before it can be released and we are fairly sure that we've come up with a solution that will work 99% of the time. It just remains to implement and test that solution. No idea on timeframe as the shifter is not the priority at the moment.

Speaking of which, I need to replace my shifter bushings and was going to just go ahead and get a short shifter while I was at it: How does the Mazdatrix compare to the Mazdaspeed one. Worth the incredibly amounts of dough? Or stick with the trix?...

Notchy? - They are supposed to be notchy.

To start with thay are solid metal - no rubbery isolator sleeve.

A heavy **** works well.
Actually the stock **** is quite good with it.
