Megan racing?
I want to get a front strut brace. My buddy has the cheap ebay one. Thats the one I plan on, just right for the budget . But I was wondering if anyone has used the megan racing bars. They look better, and thats the main reason for adding this bar. Just womdering if they fit well. Since it just for looks, Im not going to waste my money on a brand name bar, rather buy something else with that extra green.

Megan front strut bar
I just got mine. Red like my blockoff plates! So they tell me. I'm color blind LOL!
Looks like it is well made and the connecting hardware appears sturdy. We are putting it in this week along with the KYB AGXs and RB suspension kit. I'll let you know how it fits and shoot a pix so you know what it looks like.

you'll be impressed at how you can easily bend the bar with your bare hands... mind you, if you are jsut getting it for looks, then it doesn't look too bad at all..

my friend has megan bar on his 1991 integra, the style isn't too bad and through all the harsh turns the car has been through, the (rear) strut bar is still straight so are the mounts for it =)

My friends (Mx6-Rx7 Addict) Megan Racing bar would press down on his coolant filler cap (S4) when he would corner and eventually would cause the cap to pop off. The second time it happened was the last straw, it's gone now.

You get what you pay for, it's that simple.
I got a front bar off e-bay, and I had to hammer the freakin mounts down to get it to slide over the upper strut bolts.
However, for about $20(shipped) you can't beat it. You could probably find a used name brand bar (front and/or rear) for less than $50 if you wait and keep searching.

it's the same as any of the other ~$20 ebay bars. but a bar is a bar, it's not really a complicated piece of equipment.
as for bending the bar with your hands, sure. but try bending it laterally, or compressing it along it's length. that's what the bars were designed for...
