Mega Squirt fuel system *no luck in searching*

i just heard of the mega squirt fuelsystem today and was woundering how good it is compared to the AFC and michrotech. now i know the mega squirt is a stand alone system and the afc and michrotech are piggy back systems. but for the price which is the best to go for and also all i can find for mega squirt is kits but i know if i do it my self i will mess something up deffinately so i was woundering if i could get a preassymbled kit... any info and sites would help alot

Thanks

A microtech is a full standalone. You need to put the words together, megasquirt, when you search, and you'll find an ASSLOAD of info. Specifically check 88IntegraLS's supercharger thread.

If you're running a stock-port n/a, then a standalone would be a bit much. It'd be a bit smoother and a bit more responsive, but it's a bit much for a n/a

people dont sell full plug and play megasquirts. i build megasquirts and when people ask me for a harness with allthe connetors, i imply tell them NO. simply because, i dont knpow what you want and what you have to hook up.

the best thing for you to do is get an safc. you can tune it a lil bit, but i would suggest getting a wideband. but for us hardcore people, we see a megasquirt kit for 180, and see an safc2 for 250, and we say... o well **** it.

get it get it? cus i got snow man!

I'm currently installing a megasquirt w/ ignition control. it's way better than an afc and probably the same if not better than a microtech now that the trailing ignition is all done.

you can get a pre-assembled ECU from lots of builders that are around. I got mine from muythaibxr (the guy who wrote the trailing code). you can use the stock harness but you would have to wire wires from the connector on the megasquirt to the right wire on the harness plug. I'm just biulding my own harness.

hope this helps
