Does anyone know what the bias ratio is for the Mazdatrix Torsen (for N/A)? I emailed them and they didn't even know about it! They did tell me (or imply, more like) that it is a Mazda Competition unit. Anyone know what those babies' bias ratios are like?

 

ask them for the info on a Torsen for a NA (first gen Miata) rather than for a FC.

The N/A FC uses the same internals as the NA (1st gen Miata).

 

Then when you find out tell us

Well when I asked them about the Torsen, here's what they said:

"I've called Mazda competition and all we can put together is that its a higher bias ratio then stock Mazda miata. Now, we do not have any numbers on stock Mazda miata bias ratio. This is all the information I have for you other than people just put them in the car and driving it. Reply back if you need anything else.."

So I don't think the FC ones are the same as the stock Miata ones...

 

I know a guy selling some JDM Helical Racing LSD's that he ships over. I've never had a problem with his units. I believe the are from JUN or Run Racing, he'd be able to verify. PM me if interested.
