Hmm,

Mazda USA (Mazdaspeed USA) will carry parts ONLY if the following conditions applies :

- has to work with LHD cars
- Still has stock, even in Japan
- Parts that will NOT effect emission.

for FC, the biggest problem will be #2. Most of the parts has been discontinued and no longer available from Mazda, even in Japan.

For example, the 9cc5-50-650 from JustJeff's pic. does not exist on Mazda USA's parts database. Sometimes it might have a different part number (like 0000-00-abc), but I don't have the cross reference book so there is no way to find out.

Another example is Rotary Compression tester, 49F0-18-9A0B, in Mazdaspeed USA's part number is 0000-09-0211 and its treated as competition parts, which means it carries no warranty.

Most if not all current Mazda USA employees have ZERO idea of any of the older Mazda's cars. So don't even expect them to be able to get you guys anything.

If you guys have any of the Mazda Japan parts number, I might be able to see if I can find them on Mazdaspeed's database.

Right now my FC has stock shocks and springs. Sure I know KYB or whatever is everywhere, but I felt like getting stock so I ordered it.

This country (Mazda USA) had 2 in stock that has been sitting on the shelf for at least 5 years. The last 2? They have to get it from Mazda Japan. the 3rd one came about a month later, then the last month took another 2 months.

NLA = No longer Available from Mazda.

but you might get lucky if you ask around dealership, sometimes dealership stock them and it has been collecting Dust.

0000-86-3007 --- Moonroof wind deflector - NLA
0000-86-2186-CC --- Front Fascia/Valence - NLA
0000-86-2186-LL --- Left Front Fender Trim - NLA
0000-86-2186-RR --- Right Front Fender Trim - NLA
0000-86-2086 --- Skirt Set L & R - NLA
0000-86-2086-RR --- Skirt Right Side - NLA
0000-86-2086-LL --- Skirt Left side - NLA
0000-86-2786-LL --- Left Rear Fender - NLA
0000-86-2786-RR --- Right Rear Fender - NLA
0000-86-2786-CC --- Does not even exist in database, so I assume NLA
0000-86-2786-KIT --- attachment kit - NLA

I'm confused, are these Mazdaspeed part #s or Finishline? If they are Finishline can we move those to the Finishline thread and keep this one on track? No offense meant of course, I'm simply confused and I imagine others will be also.

As a general rule I'm assuming all these 20 yr old parts are unavailable...unless like you said someone has one collecting dust somewhere.

Those were finish line (aka accessories).

I don't think there were much Mazdaspeed parts in the USA (for FC) cuz back then Mazdaspeed wasn't that hot. people barely know it.

Mazda discontinue parts really fast. Like the RX-8, some of the Mazdaspeed parts are already NLA. First one was shift ****, which I understand, the second one is Mazdaspeed Front Bumper, sure you can still "get" it now but good luck waiting (at least 3 months)
