Question Maybe a dumb q?

Hi guys. I just bought my first 7 and I knew nothing about what to look for on it.
I know the air pump has been removed and the cat is gone, but I want to know if the sleeves are still in the 6pi. The actuator arms WERE there, but they broke off while I tried to see if they would move. But they were not attached to anything externally. Any way to fix without removing entire intake? Thanks in advance.
Brian

BTW it is an 89 gxl I think. It has no markings on the car, but all of the gxl options listed in the faq section.

If the sleeves are still inside, and if they won't move, you're looking at removing the entire intake mainfold. There's a write-up on doing it somewhere - Just do a search.

Theres no way to tell if the sleaves are inside or not if you cant move the actuator arms. If you could, you would be able to tell by moving it untill it stopped. It would not stop if the sleaves were absent.

You will have to remove the intake manifold :/
