Hey guys...well the vert is giving me trouble again... The clutch is going away over the course of a couple days.... I can put fluid in the clutch master and the clutch will come back...however if the car sits for a couple days...it will go away...meaning I do not have a pedal...

Does it sound like the slave or clutch master?


Anyone want to buy this thing?? $1050 bucks! 5 on a scale of 1-10...... not perfect but not horible...it has its issues...

 

I would check both the slave or the master cylinders for leaks, check inside the firewall(pedal) area as well for leaks.

 

Assume you are leaking fluid because you said you are having to fill the reservoir. Are the lines and and area around the master cylinder saturated? Paint may also start to peel. If not, check around the slave cylinder for leaks (behind the oil filter on the backside of the engine). Both are easy fixes.

 

most likely the master cylinder. peel back drivers side carpet at the firewall and feel for fluid back there.

 

I just replaced my slave not to long ago, simple job.

 

I just ordered a Master and slave because i had the same symptoms... Hope to repace both tomorow when the parts arrive.

 

Ill trade you my fb and a couple hundred dollars for it if your serious about selling..
