mas trick??

mas trick??

hey guys i have been hearing alot of things about how you can trick your mas air to suck more air or whatever by tilting it a certain way. which way is that?? and also does a tII mas air give you more power than a normal n/a on a n/a car??

I've never heard of that before. But the turbo mas is no different than the on you have. Only the 89-91 air flow sensor is different, but it won't work with your ecu.

i have heard that the turbo mas air has more voltage or something. come on someone has to know about the tilting

Why are you trying to "trick" the air flow meter?&nbp Tilting it does aide gravity in affecting the flapper door, but you're just running it too rich at any given time - it doesn't really allow more air in.&nbsp My money says the car will run like crap - the air flow meter was initially designed by Bosch for their EFI control systems, and it's a very good design for most applications.

The trick is to balance everything - you can't just trick the electronics into allowing more air; you'll still need more fuel and then have the electronics adjust everything so you get the right ratio of air to fuel.&nbsp This puts you back to square one - or just get as stand-alone EMS if you want this kinda control...

well i do have a fuel controller. but i guess i wont **** with it. i was just wondering
