Yea yea yea I know what you are all gonna say. i want to swap my 5 speed for an auto because im getting lazy and dont want to shift during my 3 hours of commutung in rush hour traffic every day.

Question is whats needed. Im assuming the drive plate, AT, driveshaft and ECU?

read the thread on how to swap an auto for a manual, and go through the steps backwards. If you lived closer, I would love to swap my AT for your 5spd.

If you want to buy me another car with an auto thats fine

Yea.. im hoping I can find someone locally to do the swap. Ill be removing all the MT stuff including a clutch and pressure plate and throwout bearing with about 6k miles on em all, plus the driveshaft and whatnot.

My only concern is the autos seem to be worthless, id feel ripped off by just doing a straight swap, unless it was a recently rebuilt auto

You SHOULD also weld in the Auto Mounts.

Hm, i take it the auto tranny brace comes welded on the auto models and not bolted on? that makes it a bite harder.

and yes, id be selling the 5 speed afterwards, doesnt do much good on my garage floor

and to the other question, i want an auto tranny because driving an hour and a half in bumper to bumper traffic with a manual blows

just to let you know, i have a automatic tranny se, i really enjoy it (dont laugh) when you put that auto tranny in, MAKE SURE you use a large aftermarket tranny oil cooler, these auto trans in these thaings are on the so-so side (i am a automatic transmission specialist) those things donot like heat and will give you trouble if abused! im not saying all of them do, but make sure you get a good one!
