manifold swap...

ive been looking at this NA turbo idea for the last two days since a friend sparked my intrest. The main part of the instal is the manifold spacer because of the lower intake manifold. so heres my question: can you install a turbo 2 manifold on the NA motor and eliminate the need for a adapter?

Please read the FAQ for FC sticky thread at the top of this section before posting, it has threads on this and why you must use the spacer...

the short of it is that the non-turbo intake manifold will not allow the Turbo exhaust manifold to fit, and that is why you need the spacer.

optionally you can shoot for the fd intake manifold... that eliminates the problem althogether. Or just do a 13B-REW swap... or a 20B swap... O_o
you CAN ACTUALLY do it... you have to rip all that actuator crap out... i did that... its doable... but you have to fab a lot of parts in order to make it work.
