making low imp high

just got a set of 1600 injectors.. whats the deal with putting them in my s5... something like adding a resistor. i tried to such but no luck for me.

what kind of ECU???

there is no way you can put those in with the stock one.

if you have an aftermarket ECU then I doubt it matters... there's probably even a setting somewhere where you choose them? other wise it probably just auto detects?....

which ECU?

1600's with a chipped stocker? not gonna happen, my friend.

Chipped stock ecu's just mainly affect timing, boost and rev limiters. Some alter fuel curve a little, mainly richening up (increasing pulsewidth of stock injectors). WIth bigger injectors, you need to DECREASE pulsewidth. No way the car will even run on top end with that much fuel being dumped in. You'd be looking at about 3x the stock amount of fuel being thrown in when those came on and no way to turn them down.

im going to use the stock rail and mod the injectors...

when i was on the dyno i was hitting 16 on the a/f readings right when the sec. would open.. i was told by many that i can thorw the 1600 on with the stock ecu

I really do think your car would've been objecting very violently to you running it at 16:1 AF ratio under load...

yes, 10 ohm 10 watt. one per injector, either wire will work.
