Making a Custom old school hks front mount kit

Old school hks intercooler kits are few and far between, and when they do show up i never have the money for them. How hard do you think it would be to custom make a kit using this intercooler..

i know this is ebay crap but its the only one ive found that looks like the hks core. Do you think it would be worth the trouble?

it would be about as hard as any other custom fmic install. do you know how to weld? it would be worth it.

Yeah I posted a link to those core/endtank setups in a thread about the old school FMIC's. It would be fairly easy to make off those cores.

I'm not sure exactly how "shitty" those godspeed cores are by say spearco standards - but I'm using an FD SMIC (heavily modified) Godspeed core in my FC (Basically their "vmount" core) and it has no trouble cooling 20psi from a GT3574. Don't know if it would restrictive after more - but for anything sub ~500whp it will work absolutely fine.

I do not know how to weld but i am fortunate enough to know someone who does. what about the part that connects to the throttle body? i guess that would be the hardest part

Contact Higgi on the board here, buy a greddy elbow, or make your own. None of it is really *that* difficult. But for the TB elbow there's a few options.
