Angry major TII problem, HELP PLEASE!!!

OK here's the deal, I bought an 88 TII for 300 knowing that it needed an engine. I bought a stage II ported engine from Hayes. All I can get it to do is crank.

A couple buddies of mine came over, one is THE RX7 mechanic here locally, they were able to get it started by pinching off the main fuel line, or by disconnecting the EGI fuse. Basically it floods as soon as you start craking it. So they both decided that I had a major vaccum leak and left.

So I find the leak, the turbo inlet duct had a crack in it. So I get it all put back together, and guess what. The F-ing thing floods.

PS.. the RX7 mech brought the Mazda computer over and checked everything, found no problems except for I think the releif selonoid valve but I'm not sure.

You may want to get your injectors rebuilt.

I have also read where rebuilts will flood easily...Perhaps you can get it pull started and go through a easy break in time to get it running right?
Good luck/skill!

Yeah I say try the pull start, even if its flooded, it should still start after a its being towed. That even started my car with a blown apex seal..

I finally got it going by using Don Hayes suggestion of installing a toggle switch in the fuel pump circuit, essentially cutting off the fuel until it starts and then turning it on it gets going. It actually worked really well and I already have about 250 miles on it.

I do however heve a bit of hesitation when coasting if I get back into the gas. It may have something to do with the afterburn valve, but I'm not sure yet.

Thanks Fellas
